So...there's a whole bunch of buzz about the smoke that's been spotted and I've been kinda curious. I managed to sit down with someone on the team who helps with the island map. And here's what he had to say about the whole thing:
Q: Is this smoke we're seeing coming from a volcano? Or is it a mountain?
A: At first I thought it might be the Tallest Mountain, but it can't be. After all, there are taller mountains surrounding the one that's smoking. And when you think about it, it must be a volcano! Most of the mountains on Club Penguin have snow on the top of them, but that mountain has never had any snow on it.
Q: Does this have anything to do with the ninja stuff that's happening?
A: Well I can't give away all our secrets, but I've noticed that the ninjas in Club Penguin have been very active lately!
Q: Um...Haven't you noticed that there's no TREAT shop on the map?
A: I suppose there are no treat shops, but if you ever need to satisfy your sweet tooth go to the kitchen at the Pizza Parlor and turn the big red lever on the Pizzatron 3000!
Not sure that my curiosity's been satisfied...but at least we know it's a volcano. And even though nobody's willing to confirm it, I still wonder if all these mysterious things are related. Let me know if you hear anything else.

Club Penguin Better Igloos Catalogue and NEW PLAY!

New Play: Hold your breath! There is a new play in Club Penguin! The play follows two divers Daring Daisy and Fearless Fiesel who meet a murmaid named Bubbles and a murman called Flippers on their search for the underwater city! The cover of the catalogue has a murmaid coming up on a rock with the water behind her (cough little murmaid anyone?) and is filled with cool outfits including diving, murpeople, fish, and lobster clothes!
Better Igloo Catalogue: Here are the cheats:
We have found that writing text for each catalouge takes a long time, and writing page whatever can be confusing to our readers, depending on how you number the pages. So instead of writing, we have decided to just do the movie catalogue cheats. Comment on how you like it!

There's an entire sea castle to climb in! And a secret shadowy sea creature in the distance.
For this play, are there treats underwater?
Well, chocolate bars tend to get a little soggy, and cotton candy is a mess...we could have tried sea salt taffy - but I'm pretty sure we didn't.

I have heard a few penguins asking and debating if the Underwater Adventure that will be here from the 21st to September 10 is really a party as most of us originally thought. So I decided to write in to Club Penguin and get to the bottom of it! It turns out that this month long adventure is actually the NEW play opening! There isn't much news as to the storyline or stuff yet, but I'm sure it will be fun!

The NEW clothing catalogue has arrived! This one is jam packed with fun!! It has
-Festival of Flight stuff, such as fairy wings, test gliders, and a balloon!!
-New color! I think you can tell a difference when the colors are next to each other, but when you just see a penguin you couldn't say if it is blue or aqua.
-New backgrounds! I am definitly getting the parachuting penguin background!!
The Cheats: There aren't any new cheats in this issue ): but I guess the FoF stuff makes up for it!

Color: Color Me AQUA! The new Club Penguin color winner is aqua! I really kind of wanted maroon, but aqua isnt too bad. You can purchase it tomorow in the NEW catalogue!
Festival Of Flight: The Club Penguin fun is sure going up, Literally! G's Party theme has revealed, and I was right! It's a party in the air! G is making Club Penguin float on the clouds so that it won't flood when they fix the windows! Do you think you will be able to play the surf or ice fishing game? G will be monitoring the party from atop the COMING SOON NEW ROOM Tallest Mountain! I bet you will be able to meet him up there! It will be from the 14th to the 28th, and you can use jetpacks, hot air balloons, propeller hats, and the like!
Underwater party: Just days after the FoF ends, the Underwater party begins! It will probabally be fun, just like the previous years! If we are able to go to the Tallest Mountain, I wonder if they will decorate for it!

Hey Penguins!
While messing around on Club Penguin, I tried doing a little detective work for the party coming up! In the newspaper, on the upcoming events page I noticed a few clues that may hint at the type of party!
The Evidence:
1) Notice the drawing in the background. A hot air balloon. In the air.
2) Notice G is holding a balloon. And a carrot thing. But the balloon. They float. In the air.
3) Notice in the photo in the previous post from earlier. The boat thing. It has wings. So it could fly. In the air.
The Conclusion:
The party theme will most likely be something.... In The AIR! (and dont forget carrots!) We have had underwater parties, music parties, jungle parties, holiday parties - you name it. Everything, except parties. In the air. And with carrots.
I may be right, or I may be wrong! What do you think? Guess we'll find out on the 14th!
Hey Penguins!
Club Penguin released a new image of the party thats coming up, and its NOTHING like any party before, according to Billybob. Since it's G's party, I am thinking it will be all of his inventions! I don't know about this photo, but it certainly looks like a G invention to me!
Something about it reminds me of a flying fish. What do you think?
